Introduction

Watira is an app for tracking daily tasks and habits. This policy explains what information the app collects, where it is kept, and how you delete it.

What we collect

Without signing in, your tasks, habits and settings stay on your device only.

When you create an account we store your email address, your password in hashed form, the name you type, and your tasks, habits, progress record and settings, so that they sync between your devices.

For each account we record how many times the app is opened and how long it is used per day. We do not record which screens you visit or what you type.

We do not collect your location, contacts or photos, we show no ads, and we use no advertising trackers.

How we use it

To run the app: saving and syncing your data, counting your streak, and emailing you a confirmation or password-reset code.

And to see general numbers such as how many people are active. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Where it is kept and who we share it with

Account data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers in Germany, which is outside Saudi Arabia. The connection is encrypted and each account can reach only its own data.

Account emails (confirmation and password-reset codes) are sent through a service called Resend; only your email address passes through it.

Purchases and subscriptions go through the App Store. We never receive your card details; we only learn whether your subscription is active and when it ends.

We share your data with no one else, unless a law or a competent authority requires it.

Notifications and files

Reminders are local notifications on your device and do not pass through our servers. You can turn them off in Settings at any time.

The export file of your data and the picture you share of your progress are made on your device and stay with you.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all of its data from the server inside the app: Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone.

Removing the app from your device deletes only what is on the device; the account data stays until you delete the account.

You can take a copy of your data at any time with "Export my data".

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
